Recipients Story:
Irene shares a ton of her time, energy and expertise to help
raise money for children with cancer. Her husband died on 9/11
while she was 8 months pregnant with their first child. Since
then she has strived to give something positive back to the community.
Irene is a very caring individual who puts the organization's main
fundraiser's success in the forefront. She wants to make sure she
can make a difference to those children who need it so desperately.
In the process, Irene always shares her home and has dinners ready
for her all-volunteer staff. She is truly wonderful.

Other Stories of Sharing…

Team Continuum:

Rebecca's the kind of girl who buys a
one-way ticket to rural Mexico. She
shared her time, love and energy with
800 orphans there. She's the kind of
girl whose first road race was a
marathon, where she raised over
$1700 for her "kids" in Mexico.

She's the kind who is at it again.
After her mom beat breast cancer,
she pledged to raise money to improve
the everyday care cancer patients
receive. In November she'll run the
NYC Marathon with Team Continuum to
do so.

Operation Support Our Troops Illinois:

Debi "shares" countless hours each week
running this organization; soliciting
businesses for donations, organizing
volunteers, packing boxes and handling
all of the operations of OSOTIL.

The organization ships approx. 300 boxes
each week to soldiers serving our country
oversees. She accepts no payment what so
ever for what she does; the satisfaction
of helping those that are helping others
is payment enough.

She does all of this while being a
full-time mother with three boys and
has twice survived cancer while sharing
her time and talent.

I can't think of a person that "shares"
more of herself on behalf of others.
